Privacy Statement
Effective December 21, 2001, the new privacy amendment (Private Sector) ACT 2000 (the "ACT") came into force, regulating the way personal and sensitive information is handled by way of private sectors organisations
We at GDC Chartered Accountants respect your privacy and the information you provide to us. We have current systems in place to protect your personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, modifications or disclosure.

1. Why do we collect personal information?
   GDC Chartered Accountants collect personal information (when submitted) in order to fulfil a request, application or to complete many statutory obligations on your behalf
2. What personal information is collected?
   Contact details, ie name, address and telephone numbers are collected when submitted.
3. Use of information?
   Depending on the purpose of the information (ie application of vacancy or registration of details) we may store this in our GDC Chartered Accountants database system, this information will be available to partners or authorised personnel staff of GDC Chartered Accountants. Where we have gained consent from you we may send information from time to time on upcoming events, newsletters and any seminars, which may be of interest to you.
4. Disclosure of information?
   This information will not be disclosed to a third party without gaining your consent first.
5. How long is the information kept?
   GDC Chartered Accountants will hold information until it is no longer required or becomes out of date. It will then be destroyed where it will no longer be identifiable.
6. Links to Third parties
   GDC Chartered Accountants would like our website to be as informative as possible, therefore we provide a number of links to third party sites. GDC Chartered Accountants assumes no responsibilities for the information you obtain from third party sites, and encourages you to review each sites privacy policy.
7. Changes to the Privacy Statement
   GDC Chartered Accountants reserve the right to change or amend the privacy statement at any time and for any reason. We will try and inform you of any changes and amendments by way of identifying the changes in the GDC Chartered Accountants website.
